Len House, Maidstone – Preserving the past, creating the future.

Originally built in the 1930s as a showroom and manufacturing facility for the Rootes Group, Len House is a distinctive example of Art Deco architecture and an important part of Maidstone's automotive heritage.

Now Grade II listed, this landmark building is undergoing an exciting transformation, with On Architecture developing proposals to give it a new lease of life.

The redevelopment will bring together 80 new apartments, ground-floor retail spaces and a new riverside walkway, reconnecting the building with its surroundings.

Evoke Lighting are delighted to have supplied the external lighting for this landmark project, contributing to the building's renewed presence and helping bring its architectural features to life after dark.

It's a fantastic example of adaptive reuse – preserving an important piece of local history while creating a building fit for modern living.

A landmark from Maidstone's past, reimagined for its future.
